VMHA Officials: Recertification Super Clinics Information
Annual Recertification Requirement
All officials must recertify each year by December 31, 2024, to continue officiating after January 1st. Since our association does not host a recertification clinic, you will need to register for a Super Clinic. These clinics are available to officials across the Lower Mainland.
Clinic Details
- Duration: 4 hours (classroom session)
- Registration: Only one session is required.
- Availability: Multiple session times throughout the day.
What to Bring:
- Notebook or tablet for notes
- Water bottle and snacks
Important: There is an exam at the end of the session. If you fail, you will not be recertified and must retake the course and pay the associated fee.

Additional Information & Troubleshooting
- For New Level 1 or 2 Officials: If you were a new Level 1 or 2 official last year, attendance at one of the recertification Super Clinics is mandatory. You do not recertify through your local association.
- Choosing Your Clinic: Log in, select the appropriate clinic for your level/age, and choose your preferred time and date. Clinics begin on Thursday, August 22 and include weekday, Sunday, and Saturday options.
- Capacity: Clinics tend to fill up quickly, especially morning sessions. Ensure you register early for your preferred time.
VMHA Registration & Fees
- VMHA Players: You are already registered for the 2024-25 season. No need to pay the participant assessment fee (insurance) with your registration.
- Adult Officials: If you are also registered as a VMHA Coach, you are exempt from the participant assessment fee.
Criminal Record Check (CRC)
If you turn 18 before December 31, 2024, you must complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) before registering. The system will block your registration if a CRC is required. Complete it as soon as possible and notify BC Hockey at crc@bchockey.net.
Criminal Record Check Information
