VMHA Officiating Clinic – Advanced Development
This clinic is designed for officials who want to elevate their skills and progress to higher levels of hockey officiating. Participants will receive instruction in advanced techniques and strategies to support their development. The clinic also includes a power skating session and a formal skating assessment to evaluate each participant's performance. This assessment will highlight areas for improvement and measure readiness against high-performance standards.
The clinic will be led by VMHA's Referee-in-Chief, Rupert Xu, along with other experienced high-performance officials.

Early-season ice sessions are crucial for the development of every official. Starting the season strong sets the tone for success, and we're here to help you do just that.
Session Dates & Details:
You have three chances to take part in these valuable sessions. While attending at least one is required, you're encouraged to join all three to maximize your learning. Each session will be led by a team of highly experienced officials—offering a unique opportunity to learn directly from the best in the field.
Note: There will be a 20-minute break between the ice session and the classroom session to allow time for changing and walking to Room 106 at the Community Centre.
