2023-2024 Official’s Clinics

 

 

Certification Clinic for New VMHA Officials

 

This is an in-person clinic for ENTRY Level 1 or Level 2 officials. It is being delivered by Vancouver Minor Hockey Association, in coordination with the BC Hockey Officiating Program, for the purpose of certifying entry Level 1 officials 12 to 15 years old or Level 2 officials 16 to 18 years old who have never officiated before. The clinic consists of two sessions – an in-person classroom session and an on-ice session.

 

Pre-requisite: Completion of Hockey University ‘Officiating 1/2’ eLearning course in its entirety

In-Person Clinic:

Attendance at both sessions is mandatory for certification.

 

Saturday, November 18 - 8:00am – 12:00 pm @ Britannia Secondary School (Rm 221)

Sunday, November 19 - 9:00 am – 10:30 am @ Britannia Ice Rink

* If your official is turning 16 years old by December 31, please register them for Level 2.

 

NOTE: VMHA players ARE NOT REQUIRED to pay the $53.73 participant assessment fee.
