Hockey Pool Update | May 16, 2020

2019/2020 VMHA Hockey Pool Customer,

As you are aware, the above mentioned 2020 NHL Hockey season was suspended in mid-March of this year, and accordingly, our VMHA Hockey Pool. Because the mechanics of our Pool rely exclusively on each week of the NHL schedule as it was published pre-season, and much of the season will be reduced should the league resume operations, it has become regrettably  clear that we will not have the opportunity to properly activate our Pool this season.

In order to remain compliant with the BC Gaming Branch and be sensitive to those who may be suffering financial hardship during this pandemic, the VMHA will offer Pool ticket purchasers a  choice to obtain a refund for those weeks remaining in the Pool (weeks 8-11) or to simply donate this amount to the VMHA to be applied, as every year,  toward development, programming and equipment costs. The refund amount is $7.28 per ticket and the choice is yours.

Please let us know via email by June 30, 2020. If the VMHA has not received a response from you by this date, we will consider you as a donor and we thank you very much.

Please note, if you wish to receive a refund via e-transfer, you will need to provide the stub number(s) of your tickets(s) as well as a current email address.
