The first week of June has been upbeat around minor hockey’s return-to-play, with Hockey Canada releasing guidelines on June 4, and more updates from viaSport, BC Recreation & Parks Association, and BC Health. The Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association will be working closely with respective local municipalities to establish guidelines for individual facilities to ensure collective health and safety.

For the VMHA, we will continue to plan summer camps, rep tryouts and balancing for the Fall season. We will also be ready with an alternative program in case we need to adapt based on recommendations from government, health and sports authorities.

Our returning player registration has been strong, and numbers are also great for our new player registration.  This bodes well for our upcoming season, and the VMHA will be ready with adaptable hockey programs.

More information to come. Thanks for being a part of our community.
